Parking

Smith Rock State Park is a day-use only area, open dawn to dusk.  The parking fee ($10 for OR residents or $12.50 for out of state residents) can be purchased with credit card at pay kiosks located in the parking areas.  The three main parking areas are within a one mile stretch along the park road, NE Crooked River Drive.  There is also a gravel overflow lot near the end of the road that is open on extra busy days.  The only parking for RV's, busses or trailers is in the large central lot, signed as "RV/Bus parking".  

Any of the parking areas offer access down into the canyon, to the rock and trails beyond, or you can stay on the rim for an easy stroll.
